The Hindi Speaking Union invites quotations from experienced designers/agencies for the design, layout, and formatting of a 40-page colour Hindi magazine.

Quotation Validity: 16 September 2025 to 30 June 2026

  1. General Information
  • Type of Work: Formatting, layout, and creative design of a Hindi magazine.
  • Number of Pages: 40 (excluding cover pages).
  • Language: Hindi (content will be provided in Unicode/Mangal font).
  • Magazine Size: 170 mm × 245 mm
  1. Content and Layout
  • Text: To be provided in editable format (Word/Google Docs).
  • Images/Graphics: High-resolution photographs and illustrations will be provided. Designer may suggest additional stock images if needed.
  • Advertisements: [Specify if applicable – e.g., up to 4 full pages reserved].
  • Sections: Editorial, Articles, Poems/Stories, Reports and Photographs etc
  1. Formatting & Design Requirements
  • Professional, creative magazine layout in full colour (CMYK).
  • Use of Unicode fonts for Hindi.
  • Attractive and original cover page design (front and back).
  • Consistent typography, page numbering, headers/footers, and section titles.
  • Captions for photographs, where applicable.
  • Proofreading of layout for spelling and formatting errors.

Note: Copyrighted images of authors will not be accepted. All illustrations must be original.

  1. Deliverables
  • Print-ready PDF file (CMYK, 300 dpi).
  • Open design/editable files (InDesign/CorelDraw/Illustrator).
  • Compressed PDF softcopy for web upload.
  1. Timeline
  • First draft layout: Within 5 working days after receipt of all content.
  • Review and corrections: Within 3 working days.
  • Final version: Within 2 working days after approval.
  1.  Quotation to Include
  • Total cost of formatting (per page and overall).
  • Cost for cover page design (if charged separately).
  • Cost for minor corrections/revisions.
  • Any additional charges (if applicable).
  • Payment terms and validity of quotation.
